Bring your Galaxy Mind to Flanders for some stories about our galaxy, share what you know about the Milky Way, and even create a galaxy of your own to take home.
Families with babies and toddlers are welcome to drop by Flanders and spend some time away from the hectic convention scene. Older siblings are welcome as well.
We will have materials on hand to build a fairy garden, fairy door, and fairy accessories from recyclable materials to take home with you. Projects are geared to be accessible for young children to complete with adult assistance, but all are welcome to come and create a fairy fantasy with us!
A hands-on workshop that teaches basic figure drawing and resources for young artists who wish to create their own characters. Participants will leave with handouts on brainstorming resources and a drawing (or a list of drawing prompts they can work off of later) of a character they created.
We will bring the paint, markers, pens, color paper swatches, googlie eyes, scraps of fabric, etc. so you Doodle Bugs can create your own Doodle Monsters. This is a great way to start "just doodling" for those who are reluctant or afraid to get started on a project!

It is time to take any stuffed minion vict...I mean, Volunteer Stuffed Creatures and turn them into New And Improved Customized FRANKENWEENIES! Families with kids of all ages may participate, but adult assistance with scissors, needles, and thread are necessary. The Laboratory Supervisor suggests but does not require donations for each Frankenweenie made to cover cleanup...uh-- I mean costs.
Is your superhero uniform up to date? We will have supplies for our young congoers and their families to make capes, bracers, and accessories needed to complete your superhero look. Projects are geared to be accessible for young children to complete with adult assistance, but all are welcome to come and create mayhem with us!
Come in and pick out your very own glitter tattoo. They last for a few days and wash off. We may also have face painting if enough people are available to help
Calling young artists! Bring your own sketchbooks or borrow some paper on hand, so you can start keeping your own drawing Sketchbook or Journal. We will provide several sketching prompts and drawing challenges during this panel to help you begin your sketchbook and build a practice of keeping a sketchbook.
Drop by Flanders to make custom monsters and rogue robots, and a tiny city for your creatures to smash, all from recyclable materials. Projects are geared to be accessible for young children to complete with adult assistance, but all are welcome to come and create mayhem with us!
We will take you on a journey to discover some of the tiny creatures under our feet, learn how they create the very ground we walk on. How are their lives are the same and different from their giant, fantastical cousins? Are you a wyrm expert? Come share what you know or learn how to make your home a good home for wyrms and make your own wyrm craft.
